Weekend of firsts in Shanghai

We have been here now over five months...how time flies...but still having some notable firsts on this three day weekend due to the dragon boat festival...

1) Amanda's first ballet recital was on Sunday.  She did great and loves ballet, even though smiles were tough to come by!

She can smile... The one in the middle...

the one on the far right... IMG_0236

2) Ron received his first parking ticket...there were no signs!!!  $30 USD, ouch!

3) Ron played his first and second sessions of squash...and is feeling the pain today!

4) The kids snorkeled for the first time...practicing for the upcoming trip to Malaysia.  Even Amanda had it down pat and looks ready to go!

5) Ron and Kim enjoyed their first hot stone massage...for 70 minutes...it was oh...so nice...

6) Kim drove for the first time...okay it was only about 1/2 mile away...but it still counts!

Oh my goodness. Amanda looks sooo beautiful. It's making me want that adoption over here to be final already. I always joked that I would be totally laid back about the whole waiting part... but of course I'm here in China, and see all the babies all around... and nevermind that the most adoreable has to live right next door!!! Darn it.
